Food experiments in 3rd level

Yesterday, a group of students of 3rd level of Primary, did some experiments about food in the Science class. The first one was called "Colour changing milk" where they mixed milk, food colouring and when they touched it with cotton buds that were soaked in dish soap liquid, it created a combination of beautiful colours. The second one was called "Inflation of a balloon with baking soda and vinegar" and students put vinegar in a bottle, baking soda in a balloon and, when the balloon and the bottle (with both liquids inside) were in contact, the balloon inflated due to the chemical reaction produced. Students enjoyed both experiments a lot.

Ahir, un grup d'alumnes de 3r de primària, van fer alguns experiments sobre el menjar a l'aula de Science. El primer s'anomenava "Canviar la llet de color" i van barrejar llet i colorant alimentari, en el moment que van tocar aquests elements amb un bastonet mullat en líquid rentavaixelles, es va crear una bonica combinació de colors. El segon anomenat "Inflar un globo amb bicarbonat de sodi i vinagre", els alumnes van posar vinagre en una ampolla, bicarbonat de sodi en un globus i, quan el liquid del globus i el vinagre van entrar en contacte, el globus es va inflar fruit de la reacció química produïda. Els alumnes van gaudir molt dels dos experiments.
