This week we did a mussel dissection in an Experimental Science activity in 1st ESO.
We discovered the external and internal anatomy of a blue mussel. It’s a perfectly organized system that lives in fresh water. Mussels breathe exclusively with gills. Their soft body hides the gills, which not only work for respiration, but also for feeding the mussel. We identified the gills and other parts like the mouth, the foot, the intestine…
It’s curious to see the different organs of this bivalve specie which we easily find on the beach or we usually eat in paella on Sundays.

Iniciem la festa!

Aviat arribarà el Sr. Carnestoltes a l’escola, així que uns dies abans comencem a crear ambient de disbauxa i de festa.
A l’aula tenim la panera de carnaval on podem trobar diferents complements divertits per disfressar-nos i passar estones de joc, creativitat i imaginació.
